(3 miles away, which also includes a mainline station to London) cater for every taste in food, drink and amenities between them. This explains why our clients have lived there throughout their children's lives, and are only now moving as they're at University! Sweetmore Close is a tiny collection of houses. Most of the owners have been there for many years, full testament to how much they have enjoyed living here. In recent times our clients have continuously upgraded and improved, including extending the house to provide the kitchen it should always have had - an expansive room with all possible amenities. Space and light abound in every aspect of this house, from the double aspect sitting room to the fabulous top floor bedrooms suite with dressing room and bathroom. The entrance leads to a wide hall with an elegant staircase to the left. This is a large enough space for a writing table, chest or dresser with room to spare, and with a large window to the front there is great light. On the right the cloak room is modern, stylish and also roomy. Further right, the living room is a wonderful, double aspect space, tastefully decorated, this is a comfortable and cozy room, with ample space for a large suite of furniture all ranged round the central focus of an open fire. To the rear of the hall the door opens into a dining room with a floor to ceiling bookcase at one end, a door onto the garden providing further light and air and room enough for a large dining table. A further door leads onto a modern utility room, which features huge storage. Sliding doors to the left hide vast cupboards. On the right, a long worktop with stainless sink tops a set of units and spaces for various white goods. Adjacent to this is the kitchen. This is a clever room, unusually generous in its range of high quality units and worktops, at the heart of which is a stainless steel range cooker. The tiled floor underfoot provides underfloor heating and roof lights above are all confirmation of the thought applied to designing this space. It is the ideal family kitchen providing theperfect place for a large table, in addition to which the side door opens straight into the garden. Completing the downstairs is the garage, accessible from the kitchen and complete with both a painted floor and power. On the first floor, the neutrally painted landing leads off to four ample bedrooms. To one end, the room above the garage is a real surprise. At 24 feet in length this room accommodates any need. Double aspect, it is also extremely light hence feels like a positively attractive place to be. Two cupboards to the side provide vast storage space, and it is worth noting that these could we believe be converted to provide an ample en-suite. The three further bedrooms are all light and well proportioned hence ideal for growing children. Serving all four is a modern, well planned and bright bathroom that is particularly stylish with a brilliant white suite, patinated soft green tiling and a contrasting timber-style floor. The whole of the top floor is essentially one suite. The first impression is of wonder that the landing is large enough to accommodate a desk and chair! On the left the first room is a very large walk-in wardrobe that is also cleverly mirror tiled to the end wall. Opposite this the hallway, which is so wide it easily accommodates a chest, easy chair etc, and in the eaves there is generous storage plus loft space above. Here the en-suite is really very pleasant, with cream, black and white decor that is smart and appealing. The chequerboard floor is vinyl for practicality, and ranged round it are a good sized shower cubicle and a long vanity unit with various store cupboards, topped off with a sink. Next door, the master bedroom is everything you would hope it to be. Dormer windows to both sides afford wonderful views, looking out over neighbouring gardens to one side and far-reaching across the fields to the other. This room has real character, and at 17 feet wide it is unusually spacious, able to cater for the very largest of furnishings. Outside, to the front the stone-walled beds to the side of the path to the door contain a number of pretty plants and flowers. On the left there is a block paved parking space off-road inset into the building in front of the garage, and to the right a gate gives access to the rear garden. Through that gate is a very private, immaculately maintained and very inviting garden with a mature hedge to the road-side. A terrace to one side provides a lovely sun trap. A raised bed to the rear contains a bewildering array of lovely plants and shrubs, next door to which the oil tank is adeptly hidden behind a fence. Directions Chipping Norton 7, Stow 2 miles
