" With views to Dartmoor and in a popular location close to Bridgetown Hill, a detached south facing 3-bedroom bungalow with a good sized garden, garage and parking.

HOW TO GET THERE Head out of Totnes up Bridgetown Hill (on the A385 Paignton road) and turn right at the top of the hill into Blackpost Lane. Take the first entrance on the right [if you turn into Higher Westonfields, you've gone too far] and Hillcrest is the first bungalow on the left. TOTNES Totnes is known as an Elizabethan town but has much earlier origins with a castle, a wonderful position on the River Dart and a main line railway station. It has a well regarded community college, full range of shops, a weekly market and a wide choice of cultural facillites. The Bourtons is about a mile to the north of Totnes with views over the town and towards Dartmoor. THE PROPERTY There's a lovely view to the west across the town and to Dartmoor in the distance from Hillcrest's sitting room window and from the terrace outside its French doors. To the north are pleasant country views too. Hillcrest is a detached bungalow built in the 1960s, and its principal rooms face south overlooking a delightful, colourful and very well maintained garden. Conveniently situated just far enough away from Bridgetown Hill to avoid the traffic noise, it is within a brisk downhill walk of the town centre, and a bus stop just across the road avoids the longer walk back up again. Properties off Bridgetown Hill are keenly sought after and the fact that few houses in the immediate vicinity come to the market very often speaks volumes about Hillcrest's location.
The property has a sitting room, kitchen/dining room, conservatory, three bedrooms and a bathroom.
