" The first thing that strikes you is what a charming area this is. It is a real surprise especially as you are pretty close to a station into London and the south coast. Having the nature reserve behind you is unique and it is a great place for kids, dog walking, jogging and nature watching. The garage has direct access to the garden which makes it so much more convenient and lends itself to all sorts of uses. The living room is a good size with space for a dining table, although the current owners have the table in the kitchen. The kitchen overlooks and leads out onto a reasonable size garden, with space for a patio seating area as well as a lawn- there have been veggie beds in the past!Upstairs the master bedroom is generous; there is a second double bedroom with views towards the nature reserve - ideal for an office or guests. The bathroom has a modern suite.Choose from a couple of different routes to the nearby station on the popular London to Hastings line. Plenty of people walk into the town centre and the nearby retail park is excellent.

What the Owner says:

We thought houses were out of our budget. However, because there is no service charge, it was more affordable than the flats we had seen!It is such a relaxing home. We love to sit out in the garden with a glass of wine, or to cook outside in the summer. It is very inviting and you are not overlooked, as to the rear there is only your garage and then the nature reserve, where we often jog.The station to London is easy to get to and we walk into the town centre, the retail park, the local gym and our favourite pub in Southborough! The garage was essential for the motorbike and the parking is great.
