A charming Grade II listed cottage situated at the eastern end of this picturesque village which stands high on the Sussex Weald and boasts a wonderful array of unspoilt period houses, along its partly tree-lined High Street. There is also the 11th Century Parish Church of St. Bartholomew, a Church of England Primary School and a few public houses. The nearest train station can be found in Etchingham just 2.5 miles away with regular services to London in approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. More extensive shopping facilities can be found in the town of Tunbridge Wells which is approximately 15 miles north of the village and Hastings, situated next to the coast, which is about equal distance south
