" A charming country cottage located in a popular rural village with cottage gardens and paddock - in all 0.65 of an acre. Inside this cosy cottage there are 2 bedrooms, bathroom, sitting room and a kitchen/dining room and within the grounds is a garage/workshop and parking. EPC Band G

SITUATION Dinnington is a small rural village within South Somerset which benefits from a well reputed pub, The Dinnington Docks. Nearby Hinton St George has amenities including village shop, cafe and public house, and a wider range of amenities including a Waitrose supermarket are available in the town of Crewkerne, with Ilminster also within easy reach.
 
Transport links are good with the A303 trunk road easily accessible and a mainline train station in Crewkerne offering rail links with London (Waterloo) and Exeter. DESCRIPTION 2 Rose Green is a semi detached stone and brick built cottage which originates from the 16th century, when many properties in the surrounding area were owned by the Poulett family of Hinton St George. When parts of the estate were sold in the 1960s, this property (along with it's neighbour) were bought and renovated to form the characterful cottages seen here today.
 
Internally the cottage is surprisingly well proportioned with a dual aspect kitchen/dining room which has a feature fireplace, currently fitted with an Aga brand coal fired boiler with a pump, and a tiled floor.
