" EweMove Leek & Hanley are proud to bring to market this three bed, detached house in Upper Hulme on the outskirts of the historic market town of Leek.

Good things in life come to those who wait? Nope, I don't think so. Good things in life come to those who work hard for it, aspire, dream and achieve.

The lucky buyers of this characterful detached property will be people with a dream or a goal. They will know what they want this house to become, of what it can become, of what it WILL become.

What I am basically hinting at is that this property needs a bit of work to bring it up to scratch. The good news is the potential of this property is humongous. Set in roughly a quarter acre of land, which boasts a garage, a shed, a covered storage area and even a pond, this property would make a fabulous family home. On offer within are two separate reception rooms, a kitchen/breakfast room, which stretches nearly the width of the house, two bathrooms and three well proportioned bedrooms.

The immediate area the property is situated in is also a joy to behold. Set literally on the boundary of The Peak District National Park, stunning views of some of the best natural hill, dale and moor scenery can be seen when awakening in the morning and throwing open the curtains. The property is located on Buxton Road but is set quite a way back, cutting out any noise pollution from a road that isn't particularly busy at the best of times. However, the road is of course the main life line to civilisation, and to the left of the property is Leek in Staffordshire, where you will find all the shops, amenities, health and entertainment services you need. Take a right out of the drive and drive toward and into Derbyshire, and enjoy the spa town of Buxton and all it has to offer. You can even visit the highest village in the UK, Flash.

So, a do-a-upperer, but the potential held within the four walls of this property could result in your dream home. I would highly recommend reading on to see what each individual room has hidden within.

UPDATE: Since being removed from the market in August 2015, the dry rot problem has been resolved. However, this has left certain parts of the house bare and stripped back to brick and floor boards; the bathroom has been ripped out entirely. I can't stress this enough, this property is a project. It needs substantial amounts of work to bring it back to its former glory. This being said, if you are willing to take it on, the rewards would be extremely high and satisfying. This is a gorgeous part of the country, with stunning views, privacy and is prime real estate.

UPDATE 2: This property is not mortgageable and is ONLY suitable for cash buyers. We shall not be accommodating viewers who require a mortgage to purchase this property
