" Don't let appearances fool you. This beautiful maisonette is simply spotless inside. The current owner has done a huge amount of work since he moved here 8 years ago and it doesn't go un-noticed. From the minute you step inside your very own front door, you are greeted by a bright entrance hall which has access to the loft space via a ladder. The kitchen is compact but stylish with everything you could need to rustle up some culinary delights. Impressive wall tiles and wooden worktops illustrate the room nicely. The lounge is a good size and is light, airy and offers the perfect room to entertain guests or simply relax in. Both of the bedrooms are large enough to take a double bed and wardrobe so no need to fight over who gets the larger room. This also means that the second room could be rented out easily to help cover the mortgage. Alternatively, buy to let investors will find it effortless to rent out thanks to this. The bathroom is brilliant with sparkling tiles and modern fittings. The ideal place to unwind with a long soak after a hard day! The talking point for this property though has to be the garden. It is somewhat hard to find a house with a garden this size, yet alone a flat, so prepare yourself to be blown away by the space on offer. With a patio at the end to enjoy those sizzling barbecues and some al-fresco dining. Commuters will love effortless daily trip to the city thanks to the fast trains into London that depart regularly from the station down the road. Has this exceptional value maisonette got your attention? It should have!

What the Owner says:

I moved here 8 years ago as the location was super convenient for me. The fact that it is so close to Carshalton station has been brilliant as I can get into the city in no time. I also liked the fact that it had two decent double bedrooms as my son lives with me and he needed a good size bedroom. Since living here I have quite literally gutted the place. It has had a new bathroom, new kitchen, been re-plumbed and re-wired. Not to mention, the fact that the boiler was new 7 years ago and I have re-plastered and re-decorated every room. The transport links are superb. The station is a short walk but the bus routes are exceptional too. I have been really happy here and am only moving now to get a house. The new owners will love it here and can simply move straight in!
