" Situated within a popular lane in this sought after village, a detached period stone cottage that has been refurbished and remodelled in recent years. The cottage offers many lovely character features which include two inglenook fireplaces and an Aga in the kitchen and breakfast room. To the ground floor the entrance hall gives access to the open plan sitting and dining room. This in turn gives access to the kitchen/breakfast room with a range of fitted units, a lovely wooden floor and leads to the family room with views to the garden. In addition there is a cloakroom and utility room. To the first floor the master bedroom benefits from an ensuite shower room with the two further bedrooms having use of the family bathroom. In addition there is a further attic bedroom.

Situation
The property stands facing the narrow lane within the village. Middleton Cheney is one of the largest settlements in the district and is by-passed by the A422 Banbury to Brackley Road. The village is predominately a stone village with its greens and many pretty cottages, and was originally two settlements, Upper or Church Middleton and Lower or Nether Middleton. These now form the basis of the two parts of what is the conservation area. The village is dominated by All Saints Church which was built in the 14 Century, with a tower and spire rising to 150ft. Recent developments have harmonised well with the original buildings, while the narrow road widths and the tight building lines combine to create an authentic scene.
