" Dating from the early 1700s Greensnook House is a wonderful example of south Pennine architecture. Located on the eastern edge of Bacup the property comprises Entrance Hall, lounge, drawing room, dining room, kitchen, conservatory, WC, pantry, coal store, utility room and double garage. To the first floor there are four bedrooms and two modern bathrooms with a further bathroom, study, bedroom and reading area to the second floor. Externally the property sits on around 1/3 acre. EPC E. We are available from 8.30am - 8.30pm weekdays and 10am - 4pm at weekends.

Dating from the early 1700s, Greensnook House was built as a mill owners mansion in the traditional South Pennine style. It was divided into two properties in the late 1800s. Situated in a desired location on the eastern edge of Bacup, the property is set in around 1/3rd acre of land and benefits from the favoured south and west-facing aspects.

The kitchen is the original kitchen of Greensnook House and retains the original country-style fireplace with 10' stone lintel that now houses a multi-solid fuel burner. There is an extensive range of fitted Japanese oak units and enough room for a good sized breakfast table. Through the kitchen is where you will find the pantry, coal store (Still in use), utility room, WC and access to double garage.

FIRST FLOOR

On the first floor you will find Four bedrooms and two luxury bathrooms both modern with a slight twist.

The master bedroom to the front of the property is particularly spacious measuring 19 x 18 and featuring a Victorian style fireplace with art nouveau glazed tile inserts; and extensive fitted wardrobes.

The bedroom to the rear of the property is splendidly proportioned and features an original, interesting and unusual corner fireplace with cast iron shutters.

SECOND FLOOR

A second flight of stairs leads to a suite of rooms on the second floor.
