This character end of terrace cottage is set in a wonderfully rural setting, with views to the front and rear over farmland. Thought to have been built in the late 1800s, the cottage is full of character but is a project, as it needs modernising and updating to make it a truly delightful country cottage. It offers country living with views and a very large back garden. On the ground floor are a Sitting Room with a wood burner, a Kitchen, a separate Dining Room and a separate downstairs cloakroom. On the first floor are two bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside at the front is a drive and a garage. There is room to extend the property subject to planning permission.

DINING ROOM

The Kitchen opens onto the Dining Room with a step down. With large sliding double glazed doors the Dining Room has lovely views over the garden and beyond. There is a door to the side. The floor is carpeted and there is a radiator.

CLOAKROOM

The cloakroom is accessed off the Dining Room and has an initial area with electric meter and modern consumer unit. A folding door leads to the high level WC โ€“ in keeping with the age of the house.

STAIRS AND LANDING

The stairs are carpeted and there is a handrail and landing light.

BEDROOM ONE

Bedroom one is a very good sized double bedroom with a bay window to the front overlooking the surrounding countryside. There is a radiator and a ceiling light. The floor is carpeted. Views from the window.

A door leads to a small room above the staircase, which also has a window. There is potential to make this into a dressing room or into an en suite.

BEDROOM TWO

The property is set in the countryside south of the village of Boughton Monchelsea and is approximately 6 miles from Maidstone offering a wide range of shopping, leisure and educational facilities. Staplehurst is approximately 4 miles away with its Sainsburys and railway station. Trains to London take approximately an hour to London Bridge.
