" This is a truly delightful cottage that was built in the 1920's and has been refurbished by the current owners with immaculate decoration and attention to detail in every room, including column radiators, and brushed stainless steel light switches and sockets.

The approach to the front door via the gravelled driveway, edged with perennial borders, is the first indication of the high standard of presentation running throughout this charming cottage. The front door, situated between a camellia and a climbing rose, opens into a light entrance hallway with solid oak flooring that continues into the family room to the left; which hosts the original fireplace and is light, spacious and the perfect size for your brood to 'chill out' with friends. On your right is the sitting room which enjoys a double aspect to front and rear. French doors open onto the patio for balmy summer evenings and there is a log burning stove to keep you cosy in the winter.

As you walk into the kitchen there is very useful larder on the right with a brace and latch door in elm, furnished inside with chrome shelving. The kitchen is stunning, and comprises of bespoke 'shaker style' base and eye-level units, Fired Earth slate floor tiles, a butler sink, and solid beech work tops. The whole shaker effect is further enhanced by the white shutters at the window and the integrated blackboard to the doors of the bespoke cupboard which houses the meters and washing machine. The slate floor continues into the breakfast room where there is ample space for a breakfast table and a 2-seater sofa to sit and enjoy views over the back garden. French doors open from here onto a large Indian sandstone patio, which make this an ideal arrangement for summer dining.

The turning staircase has recently been carpeted with a stylish stair runner and rods, which continues onto the landing where you access three immaculately decorated double bedrooms and the family bathroom. Two of the bedrooms enjoy views to the front over woodland and to the rear is the master bedroom boasting a contemporary en-suite shower room, with Travatine wall tiles, Fired Earth mosaic tiles over the modern white sink and a separate dressing room. The family bathroom is also furnished to a high specification and comprises of a modern white suite, with bath, basin, mains shower, wc and sandstone travatine wall tiles. "
