The property has a sunny and well stocked south facing garden which backs onto the Union Canal. Craiglockhart is ideally located approximately 2.5 miles from the city centre which can be accessed by bus and train from Slateford Road, or Colinton Road. The bypass is easily reached by car and leads to the airport and the central belt motorway network. Shopping facilities locally include a 24hr ASDA and a soon to be opened Sainsbury's in Inglis Green. The area boasts a wide variety of recreational facilities including Craiglockhart Sports and Tennis Centre, The Corn Exchange Village a couple of gyms and lovely walks in Colinton Dell and along the Union Canal.
