" An impressive 6 bedroom period property beautifully modernised to create an ideal family home with extremely well-proportioned rooms set in delightful grounds and gardens of about 1.9 acres in a convenient location about 0.3 miles from Whyteleafe South station. Originally mentioned in the Bourne Society records and described as a solid and firmly built mansion with mellow dignity. Built on a grand scale in 1863 retaining many beautifully restored period features which compliment the modern interior. The ground floor accommodation comprises of an impressive hallway with wide staircase and ornate ceiling roses. An elegant dining and spacious sitting room both have high ceilings, ornate cornicing and pretty cast iron fireplaces with gas fires and large windows overlooking the grounds. There is a family room with much natural light and a second staircase to the first floor. A particular feature of the ground floor is the high gloss modern kitchen with granite work surfaces and matching flooring.
