The Sellers View...
I ve been fortunate enough to live on Altwood Road for 13 years now, this house has been a perfect first home.
It is such a wonderful area to live, I didn t even need to convince my husband to leave London and move into this house once we got married! He agreed that it was a little gem of a home, surrounded by stunning National Trust walks. It was just perfect for us, and big enough to start our family.
We have a fantastic neighbourhood and community, everyone is always so friendly and polite. There is also a lovely little shop located nearby, which has been super convenient for us. There is also a nice parade of shops close by, this includes a local Sainsbury s and a great fish and chip shop!
Norden Farm is nearby, they host amazing classes, events, concerts, movies, shows, kids activities and plenty more. They also have the most fabulous cafe restaurant serving great food and the best cakes and hot drinks! Overall a wonderful atmosphere for everyone to enjoy.
There are also great primary and secondary schools conveniently located nearby.
We ve updated and decorated the house to give it a fresh neutral finish
We have absolutely loved living in this home. It is always so nice to get back home after we ve been away, it has such a wonderful cosy vibe.
The south facing garden pours light into the house. Having the French doors in the living room overlooking the garden is just dreamy. I ve always found it peaceful just sitting on the sofa with a hot drink looking into the garden. It is magnificent no matter what season it is.
My Dad who loves gardening has poured in years of love to make the garden look beautiful. Each plant and flower has been thoughtfully planted. We ve thoroughly enjoyed it and of recent times both our boys also saw it as their little haven.
The house boasts two great sized double bedrooms with inbuilt wardrobes. There is also a very good size landing and hallway, which is rare for two bedroom homes.
The bathroom upstairs is a really good size and there is a nice cloakroom downstairs.
We have recently fully boarded the loft and redone the double glazing with Anglian.
There is parking at the front of the house, currently used to park one car but can easily park two cars. We also have an additional car parking bay at the back of the house on a private road.
We are now looking for our forever home, we need more space as we are both working from home and the kids are growing up fast. We also need to accommodate so that our parents and siblings have the option to stay over whenever they visit us.
We love the location, therefore are still looking for our forever home in Maidenhead!
It is also convenient having Maidenhead railway station close by Elizabeth Line and GWR and close to the M4, A404 and within easy access of the M40. We are about 20 minutes drive from Heathrow Airport too.
It s just the perfect balance of everything, making it both peaceful with all its beautiful walks but also convenient enough to make life easy.
