This select development of just five converted barns in Norley village is a real gem. The sales have been strong, with three of the five units already completed. The final plot to be released is this super family home. Even pre market, it has generated significant interest due to the fact it is the largest barn on the largest plot, the perfect combination if ever there was one!

I first saw these barns ten years ago, when unconverted. I was struck at the time by their quality, height and visual presence. Accordingly, it is a real joy to have seen them carefully crafted with great love and attention to detail. The developer has made a particular point of working with trusted local contacts of high repute and there is a clear attention to detail in the finishes and design features.

This is without question the prime unit, offering a really super layout that is ideal for family life. The highlight is the large open plan breakfast kitchen, which has direct access to the garden and is so spacious that in can incorporate a sitting area and space for very large dining table and chairs.

Feedback I often receive is that in addition to a large family kitchen, separate reception rooms provide families with enhanced flexibility. In this regard the barn excels, with three reception rooms in addition to the kitchen. The first floor is equally appealing, with four bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Throughout the barn there are an array of exposed beams and original features, with the overall blend being and excellent combination of the contemporary with the traditional.

The final thing to note here is the superb rear garden, which is of superb size and also open and private. It is a truly wonderful setting.

Norley is set amidst the Cheshire countryside on the fringe of Delamere Forest which offers a host of outdoor activities including good walks, mountain biking and nature trails.

Delamere railway station is within walking distance access and runs on the Chester ? Manchester line. In terms of key mileages to note, Chester is 14 miles, Liverpool 24 miles, Manchester 28 miles, Frodsham 8 miles and Tarporley 8 miles.

Norley itself offers everyday shopping provisions at the local grocery shop whilst the adjacent villages of Sandiway, Cuddington and Frodsham offer more comprehensive facilities. Frodsham is a traditional market town that hosts a regular street market offering an array of local produce.

Manchester and Liverpool International Airports are reached within 45 minutes drive. There is a range of superb schools in both the state and private sector within close proximity with the hugely popular Grange School in Hartford being under 15 minutes drive away.

Directions

Leaving Tarporley along the High Street in the direction of Chester, continue until reaching a roundabout. Take the third exit onto the A49 following up the hill into Cotebrook. Pass landmarks including the Fox and Barrel pub on the right hand side, Murco petrol station also on the right and the Tarporley Garden Centre on the left. Upon reaching the traffic light crossroads proceed straight over passing The Hollies on the right hand side and after approximately one mile take a left turn into Hogshead Lane. Continue along where the road will bend sharply to the right follow this round until reaching a junction. At the junction proceed straight onto Stoneyford Lane. Proceed up Stoneyford Lane which turns into Cheesehill Lane and upon reaching a junction take the left give way filter and join Fingerpost Lane. Continue along passing the community centre on the left hand side. Shortly after passing the Parish Church on the right hand side, the entrance to the subject development, known as the Wildings, will be located on the right hand side clearly identified by a Gascoigne Halman for sale? board.
