"Built in 1957 our client has owned this 3 bedroom detached bungalow for 5 years and in that time has modernised throughout whilst retaining its charm and character. Located in this ever popular road with views over farmland to the rear, local shops are within a 10-15 minute walk as are local buses to Guildford and Leatherhead. Once inside, through the porch you enter the large hall from which most rooms are accessed. Double doors open to the lounge, which as well as having a brick built fireplace, has a large picture window which gives lovely views over the garden and fields beyond. The modern kitchen has plenty of base and eye level storage behind the buttermilk fronted units, a Neff 5 ring gas hob with an electric oven, plumbing for dishwasher and a Neff fridge. From here a very useful utility room has a Belfast sink, plumbing for a washing machine, additional storage and if required space for an extra fridge-freezer. The garden room is a lovely room to relax in and with it's doors which open onto the garden, has plenty of windows in which to enjoy the country views. Two of the 3 bedrooms are comfortable doubles, with built-in wardrobes and all have use of the modern bathroom with its white suite including bath with mixer shower over, w.c and tiled floor. There is also a separate w.c and loft access. All in all a fantastic, well maintained home ideal for the downsizer or those looking to be in a quiet road with rural views all of which must be viewed.

Garden & Exterior

To the front the 'cottage garden' has a abundance of plants including climbing clematis, blue and white coloured wisteria and magnolias. A stone driveway leads to a single garage which has power and light and a path leads to the front door. There is access down the side of the house where there is a timber shed for storage as well as a green house. The rear garden is a absolute joy. Our client over the years has lovingly tended the borders to provide a splash of colour throughout the summer including irises, geraniums, lillies and honeysuckle as well as a cherry tree. With a high degree of seclusion the garden is a lovely place in which to sit and relax and enjoy the birdsong."
