"This well presented first floor maisonette certainly has many attributes for anyone looking for well proportioned accommodation. It has generous room sizes yet also benefits from a secluded southerly backing garden and an unusually large parking area together with garage and workshop. The owner has maintained the property to a good standard yet has retained features such as exposed timber doors, picture rails and fireplace in the double aspect living room which, being L-shaped, offers distinct sitting and dining areas. Both bedrooms feature a built-in wardrobe and all the windows are double glazed, complementing the gas-fired central heating. There are distant views of the Surrey Hills from the lounge and main bedroom, creating a delightful rural feel, whilst for those with green fingers, the southerly facing garden is well screened by mature hedging with raised sleeper-retained flower beds and a greenhouse. There can be few maisonettes offering the amount of parking this does, with ample off-street parking for 4 cars. The village of Ewhurst is a sought after location and offers a local shop, a highly regarded primary school and traditional country pub complete with a skittle alley! There are numerous footpaths and bridleways within close proximity, whilst the larger village of Cranleigh (approx 3 miles) offers very good shopping and leisure facilities. There is no onward chain as the owner is not looking to buy, so you could be living the village life in no time!

What the Owner says:

Having lived here for about 25 years, you could say I have enjoyed what the property and location offers. What I really like is the lovely quiet, semi-rural area and, as I enjoy cycling, the fabulous Surrey Hills at the end of the road take no time to get to. It's a really nice community here and everybody is here to help if need be. I'll be sorry to leave after all this time but am sure the new owners will enjoy this home as much as I have and be pleasantly surprised by the space it offers - everybody who visits says it's so big!
