What the owner says
"We have enjoyed living in our home for almost 39 years. The thing that made us wish to buy this house way back in 1974, was the sun shining through the windows and streaming into the house. It is a bright and airy place to live. The house has grown and the space within the house has been utilised. There is lots of storage and it is a very easy house to manage.Hartley Avenue is situated close to public transport - buses to Bury and Manchester - which is only 15 minutes away. The metro is a 10 minute walk. It is also close to motorway links via Middleton Road and Bury New Road. There are a number of local schools - primary, junior and high schools. Local shops are varied. There are also a number of local restaurants close by.It is a five minute walk into Heaton Park, the largest municipal park in Europe. Walking in the park and watching the changes through the seasons is a joy.We have been very lucky in our neighbours who are friendly and approachable. We will be sorry to leave this house but believe it is the right time for us to move on and allow another family's history to develop within these walls."
