"Sat in quiet and tranquil rural surroundings, off the main road, heading towards the village of Chislet is this tastefully, well presented three bedroom semi detached home.
The warm and cosy feel to the home strikes you as soon as you enter the home and is extenuated by the recently fitted log burner in the living room which you can imagine curling up in front of as the winter nights draw in.
The farmhouse style kitchen/diner with its solid fuel stove is just as welcoming with bags of room to practice your cooking and enough space for a dining room table to feed the family. After supper you can retire to the garden room conservatory which is comfortable and in the summer months opens out onto the garden. It has a useful cloak room off the conservatory.
Once you are upstairs there are 3 bedrooms the third being used as an office space although it is easily a good size child’s bedroom. The bathroom has been recently refitted with a modern white suite.
Outside, there is a gravel driveway providing off road parking for at least 5 cars, a log store and 2 sheds with power and light. The long rear garden backs onto open fields with great views. If gardening is your thing or you have children that love the great outdoors this garden will float your boat.
Upstreet lies approximately 6/7 miles north east of Canterbury and has a village shop which includes a post office and a public house with Chislet infant/primary school being within a mile from the property.

What the Owner says:

I have lived at this property for almost 30 years now and I leave with mixed feelings as it has been a very happy and secure home for me and my family. The property is surrounded by open countryside and wonderful views, the sunsets are spectacular and the garden is a haven for wildlife and a wide variety of visiting birds.

However, it is now time to move on and make a new home with my partner, and we are looking forward to living in our new home by the sea.
