"19 Pelham Road is a deceptively spacious and well presented detached chalet-style residence believed to date back to the inter-war period, built of brick and blockwork under a tiled roof, which has been substantially extended in recent years. To the ground floor are 3 bedrooms (one currently used as a study) and a good sized family bathroom/utility area. The kitchen/breakfast room has an excellent range of base and wall cabinets with work surfaces, a cooking range, fridge-freezer, microwave, dishwasher and breakfast bar. The sitting and dining rooms both have glazed doors to the garden terrace. The first floor landing has Velux windows, a large loft room and storage cupboard. The master bedroom has fine views over the rear garden and has a spacious en suite bathroom. There are two dressing rooms also to the first floor (one could be used as a 5th bedroom), both with Velux windows.
Outside, the driveway and turning area provides parking for 3-4 vehicles, has flowerbed borders with mature tree and shrub planting. A side access, via a 5-bar gate, leads to a further parking area. The south facing rear garden measures approx. 197ft x 40ft, has been superbly landscaped with a large terrace, raised steps to flowerbed borders, an ornamental pond with water feature and backs on to open farmland. The garden is laid to lawn with mature tree and shrub planting, there is an extensive vegetable garden with raised beds and an aluminium framed greenhouse with power. There is also a timber framed shed with power and light (approx. 18' 5" x 10' 4") and a 2nd timber framed shed to the rear of the garden.Directions

From Saffron Walden take the B1052 towards Newport, joining the B1383 and proceeding into Newport. Within Newport, turn right on the B1038 continuing through the village of Wicken Bonhunt and into Clavering. Continue through Clavering following signs to The Pelhams and No. 19 will be found on the left hand side of Pelham Road."
