"Laurels is a charming period cottage with rendered elevations under a slate tiled roof, tucked away on Hill Green. The accommodation comprises on the ground floor a spacious split level entrance hallway with brick fireplace, a family room, study with fitted desk and large storage cupboard, a dining room with Victorian cast iron fireplace, oak flooring and French doors to the garden and a sitting room with a brick fireplace with log burner, oak flooring and French doors to the garden. The kitchen has a vaulted ceiling, views over open fields and is fitted with a good range of buttermilk wall and base units incorporating a butler sink, gas Aga with separate two-ring gas hob, plumbing for dishwasher and space for a large fridge-freezer. There is a utility room housing the gas fired central heating boiler, a water softener and plumbing for a washing machine. A stable door leads to the garden. In addition, there is a ground floor shower room with a white suite. The first floor offers 3 bedrooms; two with fitted wardrobes and a family bathroom with a white suite.
Outside, the property is accessed via a gravelled driveway leading to a large forecourt with parking for numerous vehicles and space to erect a garage (STPP). Upon entering Newport continue to the High Street and by the Village shop on your left - turn right signposted to Wicken Bonhunt and Clavering. Proceed into the village of Clavering passing The Cricketers Public House on your right, bearing left towards the village green. At the green bear left towards Hill Green and Laurels will be found tucked away behind the orange house facing the main green, along a narrow driveway."
