The Area

Marwood Drive is a popular development lying between Harmire Road and Montalbo Road just over half a mile from the centre of this historic market town. Barnard Castle supports a range of shopping, educational and recreational facilities and often referred to as the gateway to Teesdale with many renowned beauty spots close at hand.

For the commuter the A66, A67 and A1(M) provides links with the major commercial centres of the North East. Darlington Mainline Railway Station and Durham Tees Valley International Airport offer further communications with the rest of the country.

The Property

The main entrance sits to the side of the house and is accessed from an enclosed courtyard. An attractive open sided timber porch provides shelter at the front door and a UPVc door leads you into the entrance hall. Here, a bespoke cabinet screens the meter and consumer unit , doors radiate to the ground floor accommodation and an American pine staircase rises to the first floor.

The living room is positioned to the front of the property and is a spacious room with inglenook fireplace housing a gas fired log burner effect stove with hardwearing wood effect flooring and a large window looking out to the residential setting.
