The present owners of this three bedroom, semi detached house have created an energy efficient home with home owner owned solar panels that is located on the fringe of the countryside and just 1.5 miles from Sidmouth town centre.

Fortescue road is situated within 1.5 miles of Sidmouth town centre. Furthermore, we understand that a bus service is available within 25m of the property, which provides access into the town centre.

We understand that the property was re roofed and re wired in approximately 2001. The homeowner owned solar panels are located at the front and rear of the roof and included with the sale is a Tesla rechargeable battery that complements the system.

The present owners have explained that due to having homeowner owned solar panels their electricity bill is approximately ยฃ90 per annum after feed in tariff payments. The owners also use solid fuel which costs approximately ยฃ600 per annum.
The current heating system is electric, however we understand that a number of properties in the road benefit from oil fired central heating as gas is presently unavailable in Fortescue Road.
