"A handsome and thoughtfully extended, 1930s semi detached house, with a mature 200ft (60m) long garden, garage and off road parking, in a convenient location for access to Addenbrookes, the city and the M11.

The accommodation is light, spacious and presented in very good order throughout, with an extension across the rear providing a lovely living space with views over the garden. The property has been sensitively updated and has a modern refitted kitchen and bathroom, but at the same time retains lots of character features including fireplaces and picture rails.

The front porch opens to a pretty part glazed front door and this in turn opens to a wide entrance hall, which has exposed floorboards and a staircase leading up to the first floor.

There is a sitting room to the front of the property which has a broad bay window and a brick fireplace set within a wooden surround, picture rails and natural exposed floorboards.

The kitchen/diner extends across the rear of the house and has a vaulted ceiling with roof lights which flood the room with natural light. The kitchen area is extensively fitted with floor an wall mounted cabinets and has space for a washing machine and dishwasher, there is a built in eye level oven and gas hob. The dining area has glazed double doors which open to the garden.

On the ground floor there is also a modern cloakroom and a family room/snug with a fireplace and picture rails.

The first floor landing is spacious and opens to three bedrooms and a modern family bathroom which is fitted with a bath, separate shower cubicle, hand basin and w.c.. The master bedroom has a bay window, pretty tiled fireplace and fitted wardrobes and there is a second double to the rear with a tiled fireplace, the third bedroom is a single.

Outside the front garden is hard landscaped to provide parking for a number of vehicles and there is a driveway leading to the garage. The rear garden backs onto allotments, is well maintained, about 230 ft (70m) long and laid to lawn bordered with mature trees and shrubs. There is also a summer house and terrace close to the property. Trumpington is a thriving, fast growing part of the city that still manages to retain its village identity and sense of community. It is exceptionally well located for access into the Addenbrooke's campus, out to the M11 and into the city by car, bus, guided bus, one of a few purpose built cycle routes, or even an enthusiastic walk. The city's mainline station can be easily reached along the guided busway cycleway without having to mix with car traffic at all.

The area has two primary schools with a brand new state-of-the-art secondary school opening in 2016 which will also bring excellent sporting facilities. A number of Private schools are within cycling distance. There are also various restaurants, pubs, shops, a post office, hairdresser, surgery, chemist, Waitrose supermarket and two new country parks."
