LOCATION Gorwel is a popular estate located on the outskirts but within easy walking distance of the market town of Amlwch on the north east coast of Anglesey. It is also close to the outstanding coastline in the renowned Amlwch Port that attracted fame in 18th century as a global export centre for copper ore, obtained from the nearby Parys Mountain mines. Amlwch is well placed for many of the other coastal and rural attractions to be found on the island as well as being within convenient travelling distance of the market town of Llangefni. Additionally, Llangefni offers easy access to the A55 Expressway, allowing rapid commuting throughout Anglesey to the mainland and beyond.
