SITUATION No 3 Love Lane Close sits in a collection of thirteen houses built in 1974 only yards from the centre of the old village of Marldon. Marldon is approximately 6 miles from the towns of Totnes, Newton Abbot and Brixham. It is a truly delightful and archetypical Devon village with historic buildings, public house, shops and a beautiful church. The village church and the Church House Inn, which historically gave accommodation to the artisans working on the church both of which overlook the village cricket field. The earliest written record of the church is in 1348. The village has a strong active community with lots going on to entertain and amuse. Communications could not be easier, the mainline railway station can be found in the historic medieval town of Totnes or in the market town of Newton Abbot. The extensive facilities for Torbay and the 'English Riviera;' are easily accessible. If travel and commuting is important to you the Cathedral City of Exeter and the Maritime Port of Plymouth both of which have their own regional airports are within striking distance, equally Devon has a comprehensive road network with links to the M5 motorway at Exeter which gives easy access to the rest of the UK and Europe beyond. Bedrooms 2 and 1 also overlook the rear garden and bedroom 1 is also fitted with a large built-in wardrobe.
