There is also a well-regarded primary school in Eaton located approximately one mile away. The historic city of Chester is approximately 12 miles distant as is Crewe railway station, which provides rail links to London and Manchester amongst other destinations. The A51 is nearby and provides direct access to Nantwich, beyond which the A500 can be found, which joins the M6 and allows convenient travel to the Potteries. The M53 can be accessed via the A51 en-route to Chester as can the A49 which leads directly to Warrington whilst en-route linking with the M56, facilitating travel to Manchester and Salford Media City, and Liverpool. Manchester and Liverpool airports are approximately 30 miles distant. The nearest hospitals are the Countess of Chester Hospital and Leighton Hospital, which is located at the edge of Crewe on the A530.
