SITUATION
The property is situated within the moorland village of Minions on Duchy Terrace which is just on the outskirts of the heart of the village and has a stunning outlook over moorland. The village itself contains a general store and post office, a well known Public House and Hurlers Tea rooms.  The village of St Cleer is approximately 3 miles and offers two Public Houses, Farm Stores, general store/post office and a Primary School.  Minions  is a world Heritage site and is the highest village in Cornwall with most of the   village 300 metres above sea level and offers a wealth of archaeological interest.  Tin and copper mining took place here until early in the last century and many of the old pump houses and spoil tips can be still seen here today.   On Bodmin Moor are “The Hurlers” and “The Cheesewring” which are both of historic interest which have visitors from all over the world.  Minions is an ideal area to explore the moors with recreations such as fishing, horse riding and of course, walking.  The Market Town of Liskeard is approximately 5 miles.  At Liskeard there are supermarkets, dentists, doctors, veterinary surgeries, leisure centre, Primary and Secondary school.  A mainline railway station is within walking distance of the town centre with connections to London Paddington (via Plymouth) and a branch line to the fishing port of Looe.

From Kivells Liskeard office proceed out of town through the Parade onto Greenbank Road, the B3254 towards St. Cleer.   At the mini-roundabout continue onto Greenbank Road (B3254), at the next roundabout take the first exit onto the St. Cleer road (B3254), signposted Pensilva.   Continue along this road for several miles until reaching the village of Upton Cross.   At the crossroads take the left turning signposted Minions and continue on this road for a few miles, over the cattle grid where Duchy Terrace can be found on the right hand side and identified by a Kivells for sale board.
