This lovely property on Winston Row, Thornton Le Clay is a beautiful 3-bedroom home with excellent views over fields from the front and back, situated in a pleasant rural village.

On the ground floor the spacious sitting room is double aspect, with windows to the front and the rear over the garden, and boasts a beautiful feature fireplace with wood burning stove. The modern kitchen is particularly spacious and well-presented, being recently fitted, with cream and black gloss wall tiling and dark tiled floors and plenty of work surfaces. There is also a door that leads to the rear garden.

On the first floor are three sizable bedrooms, all three featuring built-in cupboards, and the family bathroom, as well as an airing cupboard accessed from the landing.

To the front the property benefits from a large pebbled front court offering parking for up to three cars. To the rear is a garden with paved patio area and the rest pebbled, with timber fencing around, and views over fields beyond.

The house is situated in this beautiful rural village. Thornton-le-Clay is at the foot of the Howardian Hills and is set in pleasant, open countryside on a minor road that leads to the A64, via Foston.

Malton station is some 7 miles north-east and the City of York is approximately 11 miles south-west. There is a pub and a primary school in the village, the bakery at Welburn is within 4 miles and Castle Howard and its farm shop is 5 miles away. Monks Cross shopping outlet and Vanguard are within a 20 minute drive, and the market towns of Easingwold and Malton roughly equidistant to the north west and north east respectively. Sheriff Hutton with a village shop/Post Office, tea rooms and other facilities are approx 3 miles away.
