Believed to have built in 1984, and only being sold for the second time, this modern three bedroom detached property, known locally as a β€˜wooden top’ is a great example of a family home situated within the popular village of Haxby. The property offers the convenience of no forward chain and the opportunity to add value, as it would benefit from some modernisation.

The property opens via the front door to an entrance hallway with stairs. Accessed from here is the spacious lounge with feature fireplace, charming serving hatch into the kitchen and patio doors onto the garden. The kitchen, with ample space for a table and chairs has matching, fitted wall and base units with space for a cooker, washing machine, tumble dryer and under-counter fridge.

To the first floor are three bedrooms, all served by the family bathroom with three piece suite.

Externally the property has a pretty front garden with lawned areas, privet hedge and well-established shrubs. The driveway provides off -street parking and leads to a single brick built garage with pitched, tiled roof and up & over door. The rear garden is also lawned with small patio area, fenced boundaries & rockery. The original owner from 1984 is believed to have been a stonemason at York Minster, and we understand most of the rockery to have be made from York Minster stone.

The property benefits from gas central heating and is double glazed throughout.
