" A beautiful four storey end terrace cottage standing elevated with views over the River Severn. The Fold House boasts charm and character throughout set behind a courtyard garden, nestled between the High Town and River. Shrewsbury - 22.3 miles, Telford - 12.9 miles, Kidderminster - 14.4 miles, Wolverhampton - 14.6 miles, Stourbridge - 15.6 miles, Birmingham - 27.7 miles (All distances are approximate)

Description LOCATION

Quietly positioned within easy walking distance to all amenities in both the High Town and Low Town, this backwater location provides the freedom to participate on foot the towns excellent range of facilities that include first and secondary schooling, healthcare, hospital, post office, places of interest and a large selection of shops, public houses, eateries and sports facilities. There are also many other local attractions such as the Severn Valley Railway, River Severn walks and the Cliff Railway.

ACCOMMODATION

The Fold is an outstanding character house, set behind an enclosed courtyard garden with a front door opening into the dining kitchen, having wooden flooring throughout and a wood burner in the open plan kitchen area. There are elevated views to the side aspect over the River Severn and beyond. The kitchen is fitted with a range of units and integrated appliances to include a cooker, dishwasher and fridge. Stairs lead off the kitchen down into the lounge which is located on the lower ground floor having a beautiful beamed ceiling and a feature brick fireplace with leaded light windows to the side aspect. A door gives access into a large 26ft vaulted room that is currently being used as a dining/entertaining area with wooden flooring and windows and door opening out to the side aspect.

From the kitchen, stairs rise to the first floor landing, having access to an airing cupboard and doors off to the master bedroom and family bathroom. Stairs rise to the second floor landing where there are a further two bedrooms.

Enter on foot through the first gate on the right and the property is the one. Parking is available further on down Friars Street on the left or on the riverside.
