Blithbury is home to The Bull & Spectacles public house which is popular for the food and beverages it serves, whilst nearby Abbots Bromley is well known for its annual Horn dance and has several public houses, a post office, butcher, gift shop, church and village hall. There is also a primary school within the village as well as the highly-regarded Abbots Bromley School. Other schools in the area include Lichfield Cathedral School,
Repton School, Abbotsholme School, and DenstoneCollege. Blithfield Reservoir which covers 790 acres just to the west of
Abbots Bromley offers a sailing club, along with opportunities for fishing, cycling, bird watching and walking. Pipe Lane Farm is well placed for access to the regional road network with good links to the M42, M1 and M6. Train services run from Rugeley,Stafford and Lichfield providing services to London and Manchester. Directions From Uttoxeter Road, Abbots Bromley head south east on Uttoxeter Road B5014 towards Goose Lane and continue to follow B5014. Turn left onto Blithbury Road and continue, then turn right onto Pipe Wood Lane, where the property will be located on the right hand side as indicated by the For Sale board.

From Stone follow the A34 south taking the A51 through Great Haywood in the direction of Rugeley. Take the left turning onto Bellamour Lane and continue along turning right onto Colton Road and passing through the village and merging onto Hollow Lane.
