DETAILS

The Pump House is situated within the heart of the pretty hamlet of Acton Green in a picturesque location. This location offers an ideal combination of rural life with amenities on offer approximately 4 ? miles distance in the market town of Bromyard. For more local amenities, the village of Suckley has a Post Office / shop, two public houses and a primary school and is just over 2 miles distance. The market town of Bromyard offers a range of independent shops, supermarket, primary and secondary schools, library, leisure facilities, a theatre and a church. Great Malvern is approximately 7 ? miles distance and offers a range of independent shops, supermarkets, primary and secondary schools, leisure facilities and churches. Great Malvern is also home to the renowned Malvern St James public school, Malvern College and the Malvern Theatre. The cathedral cities of both Worcester (12 miles) and Hereford (16 miles) and Gloucester (26 miles) and the town of Cheltenham

(35 miles) are all within easy commuting distance, whilst access to the motorway network, via junction 7 of the M5, is approximately 15 miles distance. Excellent railway links to Birmingham New Street and London Paddington can be made via Great Malvern.

Proceed through Bosbury and Cradley until you get to the A4103, Turn left here up the hill and at the top turn right towards Bromyard. The hamlet of Acton Green is approximately 3 miles along this road. As you come into Acton Green, take the first turning on your left hand side and the property will be found immediately on the right hand side.

The Pump House is believed to date back to the early 1800s and has been extended over the years to provide spacious living accommodation. The property has a wealth of period features and exposed beams, dotted here and there, coupled with pine latch doors, give the property character, warmth and charm. The outside space is very important with this property and doors lead out to the garden from the kitchen, living room and garden room. The kitchen has an array of units in warm cream which are complemented by quarry tiled flooring, a deep red Rayburn oven and a feature stone wall. Here you will also find the cloakroom. The spacious living room has an inglenook fireplace which has a wood burning stove nestled underneath, ideal for those cosy nights in by the fire. The spacious dining room is beautifully proportioned and double doors lead out to the recently built green oak garden room which has a vaulted ceiling and is tiled in a delicate cream and beige. From the hallway, stairs lead to the first floor where there are three bedrooms, the master of which gives views to the countryside and has oak laminate flooring. The contemporary bathroom, which has recently been fitted, has a bath with shower over.
