DIRECTIONS
From Teme Street, Tenbury Wells head south on the A4112 in the direction of Leysters/Leominster. After 1 mile turn left onto Salt Box Lane. 2 Mayfield Cottages will be found on the left hand side in the first row of cottages as indicated by a Nick Champion ‘For Sale’ board.

SITUATION
The property is situated on Salt Box Lane in Oldwood and is within walking distance of The Fountain Inn, the local schools and convenience store, and just a short drive away from the town centre. The market town of Tenbury Wells offers many facilities including a variety of shops and services, a library, doctors’ surgery, cottage hospital, primary and secondary schools, a swimming pool, cinema, and a range of clubs and societies.

DESCRIPTION
2 Mayfield Cottages is a Victorian mid-terraced cottage of brick elevations under a slate tiled roof and is in need of some upgrading. The property incorporates some original period features including a cast iron and slate fireplace, panelling and exposed beams, and has an enclosed garden and a parking space.

ACCOMMODATION
A canopy porch with a stable door provides access to the kitchen with a range of base and wall units, a stainless steel sink/drainer, an under stairs cupboard and an opening through to the dining area which in turn opens into the sitting room. The sitting room has an open fireplace with a feature cast iron grate in a period slate surround, a pine house keeper’s cupboard and a bow window.  A door from the sitting room leads through to a porch which in turn leads to the garden.

Stairs from the sitting room lead up to the first floor landing with doors to a generous double bedroom with a painted cast iron fireplace (not in use); a small double bedroom, and to the bathroom with a bath, pedestal basin, wc, airing cupboard and access to the boarded loft.

OUTSIDE
A shared driveway leads to a car parking space. To the rear of the property is an enclosed garden with a patio area and a raised lawn with an attractive lilac tree. There is a shared path giving a pedestrian right of way for residents only across the gardens for access at Mayfield Cottages.
