DIRECTIONS
From Teme Street, Tenbury Wells head north on the A4112 over Teme Bridge and at the Swan Garage T Junction turn right onto the A456 in the direction of Kidderminster. Proceed for 2.2 miles on the A456 before turning left onto a council lane sign posted Knighton-upon-Teme/Bickley. Keep on the lane and after 1.3 miles turn left onto a no through road; the property will be found on the right hand side as indicated by a Nick Champion ‘For Sale’ board.

SITUATION & DESCRIPTION
The Old Green Cottage is pleasantly situated in the hamlet of Woodgate Green amidst rolling farmland in the parish of Knighton-upon-Teme in the beautiful Teme Valley. The nearby market town of Tenbury Wells is just a short drive away and is host to a range of amenities.

The Old Green Cottage is a Grade II Listed detached cottage of timber frame with painted brick filled elevations under a tiled roof built in the 17th Century and extended over time. Stairs from the dining area lead up to the first floor landing with doors to the master bedroom, a second bedroom with built in wardrobes and leading through to the generous attic room with exposed floorboards; and to the bathroom with exposed floorboards and a traditional suite comprising of a slipper claw foot bath, pedestal basin and wc.

OUTSIDE
A large gated gravel driveway provides ample parking space and incorporates two timber garden sheds (12’ x 8’ and 9’9” x 7’8”).

The large enclosed gardens extend around the property with a stone paved patio adjoining the west elevation bordered by shrub and flower borders which is perfect for late afternoon/evening al fresco entertaining. Paths lead around the cottage to the main expanse of garden with a gravel area nearest the house. A stone wall incorporating shrub and flower borders has steps up through a pergola to a lawn with a range of fruit trees including damson, plum and apple, a pond, well, feature cast iron water pump (not in use), a useful timber garden shed (8’ x 6’), and a wicket gate and field gate lead out onto the council lane.
