" Recorded as dating back in part, possibly to the C15th, The Timbered House is listed Grade II* and is a classic tudor cottage with exposed timber framing, cotswold stone and roughcast elevations beneath a stone tiled roof. Sympathetically updated, features include flagstone flooring, exposed beams and stonework, and working fireplaces - the inglenook in the sitting room is particularly noteworthy. The dining room is within the older part and very atmospheric with exposed wall and ceiling beams. The kitchenbreakfast room, with quarry tiled floor is fitted with a range of units with granite worktops, a gas fired two oven Rayburn and separate electric hob. Upstairs, there are three characterful bedrooms served by a family bathroom - the main bedroom features some particularly fine exposed beams. To the rear with external access a short walk from rear kitchen door is a double glazed garden room.
