" Canal row is an authentic lane of stone built cottages in a absolutely delightful rural setting close to Haigh Country Park & enjoying lovely far reaching views. As the name suggests the houses are close to the canal with cottage gardens and additional rented land that backs directly onto the water and unusually for a cottage, this boasts quite a bit of land with 2 parking bays at the rear, one at the front and a detached garage. This charming and characterful cottage has been significantly extended with an additional reception room and conservatory added to the rear as well as a converted loft and all the work has been done with great attention to detail to match the character of the original building. This has increased the overall square footage up to 1317 which is staggering for a property like this and is actually bigger than an average modern four bedroom detached house. The interior is superb with modern, clean presentation showcasing an abundance of features including a farmhouse style fitted kitchen, timber beams, exposed feature walls, period fireplaces with a wood burner in the lounge and a fantastic vaulted ceiling in the master bedroom.
