Elstree & Borehamwood train station is situated near the centre of Borehamwood.

The town enjoys strong links with the British film industry and has many local film studios. Elstree Studios is situated in the town centre and it is here that many TV shows are filmed, including 'Eastenders' and 'Top of the Pops', along with blockbuster.
