Tacoma is situated in a most popular residential road known as Middle Hill which is a short stroll from the bustling village of Englefield Green with its individual shops, village green and Inn and excellent communications with the M25 being just a short distance further on.


Approximately 4 miles away is the picturesque village of Virginia Water with its excellent shops for day to day needs, restaurants and mainline railway station with a fast service of trains to Waterloo in 42 minutes. For the weekly household shop there is an excellent Waitrose in Sunningdale and for more extensive shopping facilities, the towns of Windsor, Guildford and Kingston are all close at hand. Junction 13 of the M25 is just 3.5 miles away giving access to London, Heathrow and the motorway network. Other than the world renowned Wentworth Club, country
clubs abound in the area such as Foxhills, Queenwood, Sunningdale and the Royal Berkshire. Delightful walks can be enjoyed around Virginia Water Lake which leads up to the Polo at Smiths Lawn, adjacent to Savill Gardens and Windsor Great Park beyond for riding. The area is also very well catered for by a wide choice of private prep schools, as well as two international schools, ACS in Egham and TASIS in Thorpe.

This interesting home was built in the late 1960's early 1970's by a professor of nearby Royal Holloway. The property was designed in a most advanced way for the period and is styled as a good example of an early 70's dwelling and is mostly original in its architectural look. The name Tacoma is believed to originate from the Native American meaning of being nearest to heaven. There is ample parking for several cars and a large detached double garage with twin up and over doors, one being remote. The gardens are quite stunning and are designed around the four seasons for interest and colour throughout the year. There is a beautiful front garden with feature pond
and ornamental shrubs and bushes with a pathway leading round to the main
side garden which is principally laid to lawn, again bordered by numerous
flowering shrubs etc. this has a westerly aspect for afternoon an evening sun.
To the rear of the garden there is a hardstanding for a timber garden house
to enjoy the beautiful gardens which feature rhododendrons, magnolias and
other specimen trees. A pathway leads to the far rear of the property where
there is a sheltered sitting out area with paved floor and climbing grapevine
and access across the lawn to a rear garden/ compost area.

From our office in Virginia Water, turn left into Christchurch Road and at the
mini roundabout take the third exit into Callow Hill.. Follow this road to the
junction at Royal Holloway and proceed straight over. Proceed through the
village of Englefield Green and past the village green on the left hand side. At
the mini roundabout take the right into Middle Hill. Proceed down this road
and after the turning to Tite hill this house is the 3rd on the left.
