" This elegant Edwardian villa dates back to 1909, later extended and extensively renovated. The well-proportioned and balanced accommodation skilfully blends the original period character with the present day?s practical and open plan style of living and is ideal for entertaining. The traditional tiled step and front door open into the reception hall, where the staircase has been re-aligned to deftly fit a cloakroom under the stairs. To the front is the original bay fronted living room that retains its fireplace and is a lovely room to retreat to for a bit of peace and quiet as well as having pretty views over a riverside park and golf course beyond. The hall flows into the impressive rear reception room that is awash with natural light and has French doors opening on the garden. To the rear is the kitchen/breakfast room that splits itself into two defined areas. The light and sunny kitchen has been attractively fitted with a range of cream fronted Shaker style units with their integrated appliances. To the rear is the dining area, which is double aspect with a further set of French doors opening onto the deck.
The first floor has three bedrooms, two being of a generous size and the third a single room or study. The main bedroom has an en-suite shower room and enjoys easterly views to the front over the park and golf course. The fully tiled bathroom is fitted to the same standard as the en-suite with a modern 3 piece white suite including a thermostatic shower over the bath. Continue up to the second floor where there is another large double bedroom with an en-suite shower room and westerly views over the garden and fields. Council Tax Band: E "
