" The Moorings has been designed and built to an extremely high standard, which is evident from every room combining the quality of the materials and standard of finish which makes this property highly desirable. Every modern attribute has been provided for and these, combined with spacious and flexible accommodation, create a wonderful family home in an elevated position providing southerly facing gardens and views of the upper tidal reaches of the Helford River and surrounding countryside.

Location The property is situated in the popular village of Gweek. The village is at the head of the lovely Helford River which provides excellent access to some wonderful sailing facilities on either the Helford River, surrounding creeks and Falmouth Bay beyond.

Gweek is located at the head of the Helford River and is a village with an active and thriving community which is well served by a popular village pub with restaurant, post office/local store, Gweek Mission Church as well as the boat yard. The village is also home to the National Seal Sanctuary. The Gweek Silver Band is very active together with an amateur dramatics group.

. The civil parish was created from part of the parish of Constantine by boundary revision in 1986. It has been a port since Roman times and was a thriving port in the Tudor period, with its own Customs House. During the mining boom, a tin-smelting blowing house operated at the quayside.

. It is situated approximately three miles east of Helston which is where RNAS Culdrose is based. The town has a wide range of day to day shopping needs as well as a popular secondary school and various leisure and recreational activities.

. The colourful harbour side town of Falmouth is located approximately eight miles away and the Cathedral City of Truro is approximately thirteen miles distant. There are mainline railway stations at both Truro and Redruth with direct links to London Paddington. Newquay Airport provides flights to both Gatwick and Stanstead within just over an hour.

Directions From Truro, follow the A39 toward Falmouth and at the first set of roundabouts turn right toward Helston on the A394. Follow this road through Longdowns and Rame passing the Half Way House. After approximately half a mile, turn left toward Constantine and Gweek. Follow this lane all the way down into the village of Gweek and at the T Junction turn right, proceed over the bridge and opposite the entrance to the boatyard, take the first turning right where from the entry gates, The Moorings will be the first entrance you come to on the right hand side.
