SITUATION The Mount is situated in an idyllic waterside position at the head of Carne Creek, overlooking the picturesque tidal waters and the wooded banks beyond. Within approximately one mile is the pretty village of Manaccan, centred around its historic Norman Church, with a range of local facilities including a well-regarded primary school and community public house.
 
Helford Village is approximately two miles distant and is designated An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty with the surrounding countryside offering unsurpassed tranquillity. With a passenger ferry to the Helford Passage and an excellent local sailing club, the area offers good facilities for sailing enthusiasts with a plethora of opportunities to explore the beautiful wooded creeks including Frenchmans Creek.
 
Moorings and laying up facilities are available on application in both Gillan Creek (at St. Anthony) and on the Helford River. The River Fal and Falmouth Bay are also within easy reach providing some of the finest day sailing waters in the country.
