The eyebrowed cedar shingle roof gives the house its unique exterior texture and feeling. Entering the property the period features continue with a 'snug' reception hall positioned in the centre of the house complete with inglenook, log burning stove, stone flooring and beamed ceiling. At the rear of the snug a staircase rises to the first floor. From the snug you also enter the ample dining room, again with beamed ceiling and stone floor.

. 1 From there you are drawn through to the breakfast room and country kitchen fitted with stylish, hand built cabinets, granite work surfaces and fitted appliances. The centrally positioned AGA is a particular feature. Adjacent to the breakfast room is a lobby area with a separate WC plus a further utility space for the washing machine. The breakfast room opens into a spacious conservatory, a lovely bright space to take in the sun and garden. Double doors then lead back into the dining room. To the far end of the house is a splendid bright sitting room with another feature fireplace with traditionally styled LPG stove. Dual aspect windows and French doors open onto the garden.

First Floor A long landing, with full height built in linen cupboards, gives access to the bedrooms and family bathroom, with the generous master bedroom to the far end. This large room has duel aspect windows looking over the gardens and a range of built-in wardrobes and storage plus a modern fitted en-suite shower room. There are two double bedrooms to the centre of the cottage fitted with vanity sink units. The stylish family bathroom is also fitted with a contemporary modern suite. Gardens The charming cottage gardens are just as characterful as the house with many features and areas to explore.
