Situation & DescriptionJust inland from the sea and amidst rolling hills deep in the beautiful South Hams countryside, lies secluded Bow Creek, the largest tributary of the River Dart and also the village of Tuckenhay which is within a conservation area adjoining an 'Area of outstanding Natural Beauty'. Two hundred years ago this was a bustling hamlet with barges and tall masted ships coming up the quays that lay along the river bank. With many charming thatched and period properties the village is in a highly sought after location with fine inns and access to the river, countryside and the famous nautical town of Dartmouth about seven miles to the South East. There is also ready access to the historic town of Totnes (three miles) and the commuter network with the A38 Devon Expressway connecting to Exeter and the M5 motorway.

.Having formerly been two cottages, the property was converted approximately forty years ago and then subsequently extended to create a single dwelling very much in the Devon longhouse style. Approached by a little used road the property enjoys a secluded position backing on to woodland and having a private garden situated on the Eastern side of the building. The location is just a 500 metre walk from the popular Maltsters Inn with its lovely aspect over pretty Bow Creek.

.Arranged over two floors, the accommodation includes two reception rooms, a spacious kitchen breakfast room and a quality conservatory which overlooks the Easterly facing garden.
