SITUATION The Mead is a favoured residential development of similarly styled houses and bungalows built in the mid 1970s and situated within walking distance of all the amenities that the village has to offer. With its many picturesque, thatched cottages and colourful gardens, Thurlestone is the epitome of a South Devon village. It is well-known for its 4-star, award-winning hotel and it also has a village Inn, post office/general stores, church and highly regarded primary school.
