" In a peaceful rural setting overlooking Denbury Down, a delightful extended 4 bedroom house with lovely views, gardens and garage/workshop.

HOW TO GET THERE From Totnes, take the A381 Newton Abbot road for six miles to Two Mile Oak. Turn left and follow signs for Denbury, turning left at Newton Cross. Pass the village green into Denbury and turn right by The Cistern into East Street. After a third of a mile, fork left at Start Cross and turn left at the next T junction. Barton Cottages are immediately on the right. WEST OGWELL West Ogwell is the smaller of two villages making up Ogwell parish lying in the beautiful rural triangle between Totnes, Ashburton and Newton Abbot which has some of the prettiest and most peaceful countryside in Devon. The village lies just to the north of Denbury Down, and ancient hillfort containing Bronze Age barrows. The market town of Newton Abbot is within three miles, Totnes eight miles and the A38 about four miles. Although very rural, West Ogwell is convenient for commuting and for the moor and the A38 and the coast are within easy reach. THE PROPERTY Built in 1870 and one of a pair of farm cottages, 2 Barton Cottages is attached back to back with its neighbour and faces south and west with a lovely outlook and views over pretty rolling farm land and Denbury Down beyond.
