" This three bedroom home certainly stands out from the crowd, apart from being located in one of the Town's oldest streets, it has been thoughtfully renovated by it's current owner. On approach the age and character of this property really shines through. The 'header and footer' style brickwork along with the 'sash' style windows give Latern Cottage an ambience like no other.Once through the door you are greeted with light airy colours contrasted by the period features such as floorboards and wooden beams. There is a double aspect lounge with an open fire and French doors leading to the garden. There is a separate dining room with an open fire also to the front. The kitchen is conveniently located to the rear of the property and has a range of wall and base units with part tiled walls. There is also a cloakroom WC to the ground floor.Upstairs the property has three good sized bedrooms and a family bathroom. Again the 'sash' style windows, fireplaces and quirky floorboards really keep in style with the traditional look and period feel, against the newly fitted furnishings. The property has a private rear garden with side access through a 'right of way.' Located under a mile from the main line station this period home is ideal for commuters and an internal viewing is strongly recommended, contact Howard Cundey without delay.
