Description:This older style semi detached house has been extended and improved by the current owners and offers more extensive accommodation that than is apparent from the front aspect. The accommodation features for instance, a 29'8 x 11'1 living kitchen and dining area which itself connects to a 16'3 x 13'4 conservatory. There is a separate lounge with solid oak flooring and wood burning stove plus a utility room

(currently unfinished) to the side of the kitchen. On the first floor, the master bedroom has a dual aspect with exposed beams and built in wardrobe and overlooks to the rear a long level garden approx 150' in length. Outside, there is driveway parking to the front and long rear garden with timber workshop and patio adjoining the house. Oak flooring, exposed timber doors and a bespoke fitted kitchen lend this house a sense of character and tranquillity and in our opinion is well worth viewing.

Location:Upper Hartfield is a small village slightly west of Hartfield and is positioned almost equidistant from the villages of Hartfield, Forest Row and Coleman's Hatch. The area is surrounded by beautiful countryside including the Ashdown Forest with its many walks and bridleways. The main village was once the home of A.A. Milne (Cotchford Farm) from where many of the Winnie the Pooh books were set and there is a shop in the village dedicated to all things connected with the Pooh stories. There are a number of golf clubs within the area and in nearby Forest Row there is the well known Michael Halls steiner school. The larger towns of Tunbridge Wells and East Grinstead are both within driving distance and offer a much wider range of shops schools and facilities plus railway connections to London and the coast.
