" Description    9 Mountfield Villas is an attractive semi-detached cottage believed to date from around 1930 which provides very well presented accommodation arranged over two floors with particular features including sitting room with open fire, lovely conservatory overlooking the landscaped gardens, fitted kitchen with fireplace and inset wood burning stove, utility room, two bedrooms with countryside views. Agents note : 9 Mountfield Villas has lapsed planning permission for a substantial two storey extension to the side of the house.

Situation    The property is found in a rural location at the edge of the village of Mountfield set within rolling countryside and enjoying views over adjoining farmland. Within 3 miles is the ancient and historic town of Battle with its range of High Street shops, supermarkets and amenities to include a mainline station which offers regular services to London. Schooling in the area, both public and private, is also highly regarded.

Outside    The property is approached via a 5 bar wooden gate which leads into a gravel driveway suitable for off road parking for several vehicles with areas of lawn to either side.
