" Description    4 Oakland Drive is an attractive detached bungalow situated in a quiet and sought after location and is available to the market for the first time since it was built over 20 years ago. The accommodation now requires some general updating and offers scope for a loft conversion and extension subject to the usual consents. Externally the property offers well maintained front and rear gardens, a single garage and further off road parking. The property is offered with no forward chain.

Situation    Robertsbridge Village stands within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty and offers a variety of local shopping as well as an extensive range of services. Amongst others there is a good butcher, post office, pharmacy, doctors and dentist as well as good restaurants and pubs and particularly the George Inn is highly regarded for its food and atmosphere. Robertsbridge mainline station offers a good service to London, (Cannon Street and Charing Cross) in approximately one hour 15 minutes. There is a good local primary school and well regarded community college both in the village. Further afield more comprehensive shopping and recreational facilities are available in the historic town of Battle or Tunbridge Wells. In particular Tunbridge Wells offers a vast array of well known High Street brands together with many independent stores. It also offers a wide choice of restaurants and bars together with a theatre and Multiplex Cinema.

Situation    Local sporting facilities including fishing at the nearby Darwell Reservoir, sailing and fishing at Bearwater and golf at nearby Ticehurst and Saddlescombe. A footpath originating from the village offers outstanding walks within the surrounding countryside of the Darwell Valley.
